Qlik releases Qlik Sense 2.1

Qlik is pleased to announce the availability of Qlik Sense 2.1. This release provides a more complete Qlik Sense experience to date and allows customers to explore, create and collaborate with greater simplicity.

The new features in this release are as follow:

Visual Exploration: This feature provides the capability of changing properties such as Sorting, Colours and Presentation without having to edit the underlying code.

Variables: The availabilitiy of new variables ensures content creators and developers are able to build more sophisticated analytics.

Storytelling: New features allow data stories to be directly published to PowerPoint presentations to facilitate sharing and collaboration.

Development Hub: Developers will be able to take full advantage of the Qlik analytics platform for web mashups, custom apps and extensions.

Experience Enhancements such as:

  • Expression editor auto-complete / colour coding
  • Bundle Apps with images and data
  • Performance improvements and bug fixes..

New Qlik DataMarket topical packages

  • Global currencies – 180 exchange rates
  • Weather – More than 2500 cities
